Computers in Food Tech

-Market research
Market research is what is helping stores and other sellers decided what selling best in the market and taking it to their advantage. This used by using loyalty cards and other forms of knowing who shops at their store and what they tend to like. The more they find out the more they have a chance of succeeding at pleasing the customer.

-recipes
Recipes are important because cooks must continue to make new recipes and foods to be able to keep up with the competition. This used to mean spending about 6 months making and perfecting a recipe where as now it is as slim as having to make a new recipe within 1 week. The recipe matters seeing as the cook must make them around certain limits now seeing as they must look at fat amount and other things that consumers look at.

-Cost and food tasting
This is the part of the process that analyses the ingredients and helps calculate the overall cost of the food through a computer database and tells the cook whether the food will be profitable or not. After the cook see’s that the food is profitable they will get food tasters to taste it to see if the food is enjoyable.

-Labeling
Labeling is a very important part of the food industry seeing as it helps the consumer see information that will help. This includes the name of the product, the date in which it may expire by, and the ingredients in it. This is important so that none of the consumers end up getting sick from the food and/ or having an allergic reaction.

-Food safety
Food safety is a major part of food that is trying to slim the contamination of food that it may slim the chances of food poisoning. They use dna to see if the food is contaminated in anyway and if it is they can track how that the food got contaminated. This helps to prevent a further outbreak of the contamination.

Radiologic Technologists

They use technology to produce picures of the inside of the human body so that they may no what is going on inside them. They take ct scans and search the body for cancer using radiation. The downfall of this job is the fact that they have to be careful not to get to much radiation.
3. Is this a job you might be interested in pursuing in the future? Please say why or why not.
I like this job but it seems like they have to do the same thing to much.

Biomedical Engineer

This career is for people whom are interested in helping people with faulty organs or missing limbs.They help design and build better artificial limbs such as arms and legs. Along with this they can make artificial heart valves and other things to help important organs in the body. This job is a job that helps make it possible for doctors to do what they do on an everyday basis.

I would be interested in this job because it would drastically help many people across the world.

Webmasters

A Webmasters job consists of many job qualities such as creating a webpage and its content in it. You also must have programing experience to be able to do this job. There job makes them make sure the webpage works correctly which means spell checking the page, making sure the links work, and making sure it looks attractive.
3. Is this a job you might be interested in pursuing in the future? Please say why or why not.
This job sounds quite dull and seems like it has very little excitement within it. Because of these reasons this job does not attract to me.

Web Designer & Developer

A Website Designer creates and maintains a typical website (normally for 1 to 5 businesses at a time). They interact with the costumers so that they may design the website around the clients needs. To do this the designer must make fast decisions and be able to fit a graphic design in a certain amount of space.

3. Is this a job you might be interested in pursuing in the future? Please say why or why not.
I do not believe I would enjoy this job. It seems like you would be dealing more with fixing another persons mistakes in which would get annoying.

Internet Advertising Design

the advertiser has to take in to thought what they believe the reader will appeal to. they have to design there advertisement around what the reader would like more and decide whether it should be made as a game, a flash, or a video clip. these advertisements can range from games made just for fun, to helping to promote something and to be a web guide.

3. Is this a job you might be interested in pursuing in the future? Please say why or why not.
I would not like to have this job seeing as I do not see how the product made by these designers really benefits people. In my opinion these advertisements are more annoying then helpful.

Genetic Research Technician

This career allows people to study genetics and find ways to cure or slim diseases. They also clone DNA to help solve criminal cases and also to be able to help plant crops.This job is open to advancement into any form of genetics. whether it be plants, human, or any range in between.

3. Is this a job you might be interested in pursuing in the future? Please say why or why not.
this job somewhat interests me. i am interested in the fact of taking genes and finding a way to help cure cancer and other forms of diseases.

Internet Store Managers

Internet Store Managers run the online stores and make sure that the online stores are user friendly. They set up and maintain the webpage or WebPages. He also has to make sure that the website gets out to the public which means keeping it nice so that it will get good reviews and making advertisement to send out on the internet.

3. Is this a job you might be interested in pursuing in the future? Please say why or why not.
This is not a job I would be interested in. It seems just to repeat the same things everyday and seems like it would get very boring within a very short amount of time doing it.

system administrator

A system administrator maintains the order of a computer system. They use problem solving skills to solve any problems they may encounter ranging from just making sure the files are not getting to full to making sure the system is working correctly and fixing whatever problems they may encounter.

This job does not interest me very much because in general I am more interested in the surgical or medical Field.
